Job Description
Responsibilities
Teach English as a second language to students in grades 6 to 12, following the curriculum set by Holy Public School In Sikandra. Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the school’s syllabus, ensuring clear communication of grammar, vocabulary, and literary concepts.
Deliver interactive classes that include speaking, listening, reading, and writing exercises tailored to different ability levels. Use age-appropriate materials, such as textbooks, worksheets, and multimedia resources, to enhance student learning.
Monitor student progress through regular assessments, provide constructive feedback, and adjust teaching methods as needed to support individual growth. Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and participation to report to the school authorities.
Qualifications and Experience
Hold a Bachelor’s degree in English or a related field as a minimum requirement. Possess a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) for formal teaching certification.
Gain at least two years of teaching experience, preferably in a school setting where English is taught to middle and secondary grades. While TET/CTET is not mandatory, experience with classroom management and student engagement is highly valued.
