Environmental Studies (Evs) Teacher Position at Holy Public School in Sikandra, Agra

This is a full-time teaching position aimed at shaping young minds with a strong foundation in sustainability, ecology, and responsible citizenship. The teacher will develop and deliver engaging EVS lessons aligned with school curriculum standards. Daily classroom activities will include discussions on biodiversity, climate change, waste management, and conservation efforts. Hands-on projects, group discussions, and field trips will be part of the teaching approach to make learning experiential.
Assessment will be a mix of continuous evaluation—quizzes, presentations, and practical tasks—to gauge students' understanding. The teacher must adapt teaching methods to cater to diverse learning abilities while maintaining academic rigor. Collaboration with the school’s EVS coordinator will be essential for planning thematic weeks and organizing outdoor learning experiences.
A graduate with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification is required, along with experience in teaching EVS. While TET/CTET certification is not mandatory, it will be an added advantage. The successful candidate will work in a supportive academic environment, contributing to the school’s commitment to environmental education and holistic development.
