Role Summary

Who You Will Teach
You will be teaching Chemistry to students in classes 9 to 12, guiding them through the complexities of the subject and helping them develop a deep understanding of the world around them. Your passion for Chemistry and your ability to make it engaging and accessible will inspire our students to excel in this critical subject.
Day-to-Day Duties
- Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans for Chemistry classes, incorporating a range of teaching methods to cater to different learning styles
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to help them improve
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement curriculum changes
- Prepare and administer Chemistry exams and assessments
- Provide additional support to students who need it
- Stay up-to-date with changes in the Chemistry curriculum and adapt your teaching methods accordingly
- Participate in school events and activities to promote Chemistry and STEM education
- Contribute to the development of our school's Chemistry department
Who Can Apply
To be eligible for this role, you must have a postgraduate qualification in Chemistry (M.Sc.) and a B.Ed./D.El.Ed. degree. While experience with TET/CTET is preferred, it is not necessary. We welcome applications from qualified and enthusiastic Chemistry teachers who are passionate about teaching and learning.
