Job Description
PRT Computer Science Teacher Job in Agra, Uttar Pradesh | School Recruitment
About This Role
Johns Mary School integrates interactive smart boards, Google Classroom, and a school-wide LMS to deliver Computer Science lessons that feel like hands-on labs rather than chalk-and-talk sessions. As the PRT Computer Science Teacher, you will be the bridge between young learners and these tools, ensuring every concept is explored through live coding, simulations, and project-based tasks. The role is designed for someone who enjoys translating abstract programming ideas into concrete, visual experiences for classes III to V.
How You Will Teach
Lessons will be delivered through blended learning—short concept videos on the LMS, live coding on smart boards, and follow-up assignments on Google Classroom. You will rotate students through digital stations where they debug simple programs, design basic animations, and document their steps in shared slides. The school provides ready-made lesson plans and starter code snippets, but you will adapt them to the pace and curiosity of your class. End-of-topic quizzes are auto-graded in the LMS so you can focus on explaining wrong answers in real time.
What You Will Do
Prepare weekly lab sheets aligned with the CBSE Computer Science syllabus for primary sections and upload them to the LMS before Monday morning.
Conduct two smart-board sessions daily—one for concept introduction and another for collaborative problem-solving with Scratch or Blockly.
Monitor Google Classroom streams to answer student doubts within two hours and tag relevant resources for absent learners.
Run a “Friday Debug Clinic” where small groups present their code errors on the big screen and the class solves them together.
Integrate local examples—like using traffic-light logic to teach if-else—to make algorithms relatable for Agra’s young minds.
Maintain a digital portfolio for each child showing their projects, quiz scores, and teacher feedback; share this with parents every fortnight.
Collaborate with the school’s IT coordinator to test new tools like micro:bit kits and Sphero robots before introducing them to students.
Attend a monthly tech circle with other subject teachers to swap digital lesson hacks and troubleshoot classroom tech issues.
Who Can Apply
Graduates in Computer Science or related fields with at least two years of teaching experience in primary classes are eligible. A B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree is mandatory. Prior classroom use of smart boards, Google Classroom, or any LMS is a plus. Experience with Scratch, Blockly, or similar visual programming environments will help you hit the ground running. Johns Mary School values teachers who can learn new tools quickly and share shortcuts with colleagues.
Skills We Value
Fluency in Google Workspace—Classroom, Forms, Slides—and basic troubleshooting of student logins and permissions.
Ability to design screen-capture videos (under two minutes) explaining a single concept or error message.
Comfort with classroom tech like projectors, speakers, and USB mics to keep lessons audible in Agra’s sometimes noisy corridors.
Digital literacy that lets you curate age-appropriate YouTube clips and interactive websites for extra practice.
Willingness to document lesson outcomes in a shared spreadsheet so the school can track progress across classes.
What You Get
The monthly salary for this full-time PRT Computer Science Teacher vacancy in Agra is Rs.12,000 to Rs.20,000 based on experience and qualifications. The school provides a personal Gmail account under the Johns Mary School domain, access to the LMS, and an annual budget for printing lab sheets and buying small teaching kits. Professional development support includes occasional workshops on new digital tools and a mentorship pairing with senior Computer Science teachers.
