About This Role
We are looking for a skilled PRT Dance Teacher to join our team at Johns Mary School in Agra. As a PRT Dance Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching dance to students from grade 1 to 8. You will be expected to create engaging lesson plans, assess student progress, and provide feedback to students and parents. Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver dance lessons to students from grade 1 to 8
- Assess student progress and provide feedback to students and parents
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to different learning styles
- Create a safe and inclusive learning environment that fosters creativity and self-expression
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement the school's dance curriculum
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance
- Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the development of the school's dance program
- Develop and implement assessments to evaluate student learning outcomes
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure a smooth transition of information
- Stay updated with new developments and trends in dance education to ensure that our curriculum remains relevant and engaging
Eligibility Criteria
- Graduation in Dance or a related field
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree
- Minimum 2 years of experience in teaching dance
- Strong knowledge of dance techniques and pedagogy
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans and assessments
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
