Position summary

Reporting and scope
The position reports to the Head of Music Department.
Core duties
Lesson planning and delivery
Design age‑appropriate music curriculum, incorporating theory, performance, and cultural studies. Use diverse teaching aids and technology to enhance learning.
Student assessment and progress tracking
Conduct regular formative assessments, maintain records of student progress, and provide constructive feedback to students and parents.
Co‑curriculum involvement
Participate in school events, concerts, and inter‑school competitions. Mentor student choirs, bands, and solo performers.
Professional development
Stay updated with contemporary music education practices, attend workshops, and share best practices with peers.
Qualification and experience
Graduate degree in any field. B.Ed or D.El.Ed required; TET/CTET preferred. Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in a school setting. Demonstrated ability to inspire students through music.
Compensation and location
Full‑time salary range Rs.15,000 – Rs.30,000 per month. Position located in Agra, Uttar Pradesh, at Seemax International School.
