PGT Botany Teacher Position at Iqra Public School, Aligarh
We seek an experienced PGT Botany Teacher to join Iqra Public School in Aligarh. This role requires a dedicated educator with a strong background in botany to guide students through advanced scientific concepts.
Plan and deliver lectures on botany, covering topics like plant taxonomy, physiology, genetics, and ecology. Ensure clarity and depth in explaining complex theories to students in higher secondary classes.
Prepare and maintain detailed lesson plans, aligning with the school’s curriculum while incorporating interactive and practical learning methods. Conduct experiments and field studies to enhance students’ understanding of botanical principles.
Assess students’ knowledge through written exams, practical evaluations, and project-based assessments. Provide constructive feedback to help them improve their scientific reasoning and research skills.
Supervise laboratory sessions where students conduct experiments on plant growth, morphology, and biochemistry. Collaborate with the science department to integrate botany with other subjects like biology and environmental studies.
Develop and update teaching resources such as handouts, PowerPoint presentations, and lab manuals. Attend professional development workshops to stay updated on advancements in botany education.
Maintain a positive and engaging classroom environment, fostering a love for science among students. Act as a mentor to guide them in research projects and academic pursuits.
Ensure compliance with school policies regarding attendance, discipline, and student welfare. Represent the school at science fairs, exhibitions, and educational conferences when required.
