Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced and passionate PGT Yoga Teacher to join our team at Delhi World Public School. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Yoga to students from classes 6 to 12 and will play a critical role in shaping the minds and bodies of our young scholars.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Yoga lessons to students from classes 6 to 12
- Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to diverse learning needs
- Assess student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
- Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the development of the school's Yoga program
- Collaborate with other teachers to integrate Yoga with other subjects
- Maintain a safe and supportive classroom environment
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about student progress
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills
Eligibility Criteria
- Master's degree in Yoga or a related field
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree
- Two years of teaching experience
- Strong knowledge of Yoga philosophy and practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a collaborative environment
Salary and Benefits
The successful candidate will be offered a competitive salary of Rs.35,000 - Rs.55,000 per month, depending on experience and qualifications. Additionally, the school offers a range of benefits, including medical insurance, travel allowance, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
