Job Description
PRT Music Teacher Responsibilities at Iqra Public School
Teach fundamental music theory, instruments, and singing techniques to students in Class I to V. Conduct daily music classes, ensuring clear instruction and engagement through structured lessons.
Develop and implement age-appropriate music curricula aligned with school standards, including rhythm, melody, and basic composition exercises.
Assist in organizing school music events, such as performances, festivals, and competitions, to foster a creative environment.
Ensure proper use of school music equipment, maintaining instruments and recording tools in good working condition.
Collaborate with other teachers to integrate music into broader classroom activities, enhancing students’ overall learning experience.
Eligibility and Qualifications
Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Music or a related field, followed by a post-graduate qualification in education. Possess a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree to qualify for PRT roles.
Five years of relevant teaching experience, preferably in schools with a focus on music education. Experience in motivating students through practical and interactive music lessons is a plus.
Salary for this full-time position is Rs.15,000 to Rs.30,000 per month, with benefits including a monthly stipend and professional growth opportunities.
