Shivam J.k International School | Aligarh is seeking a dedicated PRT Science Teacher to join its dynamic Science Teaching team. The PRT Science Teacher in Aligarh will design and deliver age-appropriate Science lessons across grades, aligning with CBSE curriculum standards. The teacher must ensure all activities comply with school safety protocols while fostering curiosity in students about physics, chemistry, biology, and environmental science.
Assessment and evaluation form a key part of this role. The PRT Science Teacher will conduct formative and summative assessments using practical exams, project-based evaluations, and periodic tests. Feedback will be given in a constructive manner, helping students improve their understanding and problem-solving skills. Regular monitoring of student progress ensures that learning gaps are addressed promptly.
Lab management is an essential responsibility. The teacher will assist in maintaining well-stocked science labs, ensuring equipment is functional and students handle tools safely. Collaborating with senior Science teachers, the PRT will participate in lab demonstrations, workshops, and resource-sharing sessions to enhance the school’s Science curriculum.
Teaching experience in a school environment is highly valued, with at least two years of relevant experience expected. Familiarity with modern teaching methodologies and tools, such as digital labs and educational software, will be beneficial. The ideal candidate should also be comfortable adapting lessons for students with diverse learning needs, ensuring inclusivity in Science education.
Professional growth is encouraged through participation in workshops, training sessions, and continuous professional development programs. The PRT Science Teacher will represent Shivam J.k International School | Aligarh in local educational forums and may be asked to mentor younger teachers or assist in curriculum development initiatives.
A graduate degree with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification is mandatory. While TET/CTET certification is preferred, it is not mandatory for this position. The salary for this PRT Science Teacher position in Aligarh is Rs.13,000 to Rs.22,000 per month, with opportunities for growth based on performance and contributions to the school’s academic excellence.
