Job Description
PGT Physical Education Teacher Position at Sanskar Global School Gauriganj
Design and implement engaging physical education programs aligned with school curriculum standards. Develop age-appropriate activities that promote fitness, sportsmanship, and teamwork for students. Ensure safety protocols are strictly followed during all outdoor and indoor sports sessions.
Plan and conduct weekly sports events, including inter-house competitions, to foster camaraderie and healthy competition. Collaborate with the school’s sports committee to organize annual events like sports days and tournaments. Maintain and update the school’s sports infrastructure, including equipment and facilities, to meet operational needs.
Teach fundamental sports skills across various disciplines like athletics, basketball, cricket, and swimming. Provide individual and group coaching to students to improve their performance and confidence. Prepare and deliver structured lesson plans that integrate physical activity with academic learning objectives.
Ensure compliance with all school policies regarding discipline, attendance, and student safety during physical activities. Act as a mentor to students, encouraging a balanced lifestyle that includes both physical and mental well-being. Represent the school at local and regional sports events, showcasing student achievements.
Hold a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree with a specialization in Physical Education. Possess a valid TET/CTET certificate, though not mandatory for this role. Minimum two years of teaching experience in Physical Education at the secondary or senior secondary level. Strong knowledge of national and state-level sports curriculum guidelines is essential.
