PGT Biology Teacher Job in Amroha, Uttar Pradesh
Role Summary
Delhi Public School Amroha is seeking a highly qualified and experienced PGT Biology Teacher to join our faculty team in Amroha, Uttar Pradesh. As a PGT Biology Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching Biology to students in classes XI and XII, preparing them for the CBSE Board Exams.
How You Will Teach
As a Biology teacher at Delhi Public School Amroha, you will be expected to use practical methods, tools, and lab work to engage students in the subject. You will also need to use digital tools and multimedia resources to enhance student learning and make the subject more accessible. Our Biology laboratory is well-equipped with modern equipment, and we encourage teachers to design innovative experiments and activities to promote student learning.
What You Will Do
- Prepare and deliver high-quality biology lessons to classes XI and XII, aligned with the CBSE curriculum.
- Conduct practical biology experiments and activities to enhance student learning and understanding.
- Set and mark assignments, tests, and exams to assess student progress and understanding.
- Provide individualized attention and guidance to students who require extra support.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement the biology curriculum.
- Participate in department-level meetings to discuss curriculum development and teacher training.
- Mentor junior teachers and provide guidance on teaching methods and classroom management.
- Conduct parent-teacher meetings to discuss student progress and provide feedback.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Biology (M.Sc) with a specialization in a relevant area.
- B.Ed or M.Ed degree with a specialization in Biology.
- NET or SET clearance in Biology (preferable).
- CTET or TET clearance (not mandatory).
