As a PRT Social Science Teacher, you will be responsible for imparting knowledge to students in a collaborative and engaging environment. You will utilize smart boards to create interactive lessons, leverage Google Classroom for seamless communication, and adopt blended learning approaches to cater to diverse learning needs.
Day-to-Day Duties
- Teach Social Science subjects to students of Classes 1 to 5
- Design and implement lesson plans to foster activity-based learning
- Utilize digital tools to create engaging multimedia presentations
- Manage classroom discipline and ensure a conducive learning environment
- Develop and grade worksheets, assignments, and projects
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement school activities
- Communicate effectively with parents through regular updates and progress reports
- Participate in school-wide initiatives and projects
Required Qualifications
- Post-graduate degree in Social Science or related field
- B.Ed. or D.El.Ed. degree from a recognized institution
- TET or CTET certification is not mandatory for this role
Preferred Skills
- Strong digital literacy and ability to adapt to new technology
- Familiarity with online teaching tools and platforms
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and parents
Salary and Benefits
