Role Summary
The PGT Geography Teacher will be responsible for teaching Geography to students from Class VI to Class XII, and will play a key role in shaping the academic and personal growth of our students. The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic and experienced educator who is passionate about Geography and committed to delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Geography to students from Class VI to Class XII, using innovative and engaging teaching methods
- Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to the diverse learning needs of our students
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to promote academic excellence
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum changes
- Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the development of school policies
- Supervise students during extracurricular activities and maintain a safe and orderly learning environment
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Geography or a related field from a recognized university
- B.Ed. or D.El.Ed. degree with a minimum of 3 years of teaching experience
- Proficiency in teaching Geography to students from Class VI to Class XII
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
Salary and Benefits
- Salary: Rs.30,000 - Rs.60,000 per month
