Regular Responsibilities Across the Academic Cycle
Collaborate with Sunbeam School Azamgarh’s management to organize inter-house sports competitions and school-level tournaments. Develop and update Physical Education lesson plans based on student feedback and evolving educational standards. Participate in school events like sports fests, cultural programs, and extracurricular activities to promote holistic development. Attend regular teacher meetings and workshops to stay updated on teaching methodologies and sports science advancements.
Periodic Responsibilities
Assess students’ physical fitness levels through standardized tests and provide constructive feedback to parents and teachers. Work with the school’s health committee to promote wellness initiatives, such as yoga sessions or nutrition workshops. Ensure compliance with school policies on sports safety, equipment maintenance, and emergency procedures.
Qualifications and Experience
A Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) is mandatory for this PRT Physical Education Teacher position. A degree in Physical Education or related field is highly beneficial. Two years of teaching experience, preferably in Physical Education or sports-related subjects, is required. While TET/CTET certification is not mandatory, it is preferred for this role.
