About This Role
Children Sr. Sec. School, located in the heart of Azamgarh, Uttar Pradesh, is seeking a highly qualified and experienced TGT English Teacher to join our team.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver engaging English lessons to students of Classes 6-10.
* Develop and implement curriculum-aligned lesson plans, assessments, and evaluations.
* Assess student progress, identify areas of improvement, and provide constructive feedback.
* Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement school-wide English language programs.
* Use technology to enhance teaching and learning experiences, such as online resources and multimedia materials.
* Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance.
* Participate in school-wide professional development programs to enhance teaching skills.
* Contribute to departmental meetings, curriculum revisions, and other school-wide initiatives.
Eligibility Criteria
Must Have
- Postgraduate degree in English or a related field (M.A., M.Com, M.Sc).
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree from a recognized institution.
- Valid TET/CTET certification (not required but preferred).
Good to Have
- 3+ years of teaching experience, preferably in a school setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in English language and literature.
- Familiarity with curriculum development and implementation.
Preferred Skills
- Strong knowledge of English language and literature.
- Ability to use technology to enhance teaching and learning experiences.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
