TGT Science General Teacher Job in Azamgarh, Uttar Pradesh | School Recruitment
The Science General Teacher Job in Azamgarh at St. Xavier International School means handling classes from VI to X, covering Physics, Chemistry and Biology under one umbrella. You will prepare lesson plans that simplify complex concepts for students who come from different learning backgrounds. Expect to manage labs, conduct demonstrations and keep the classroom interactive rather than one-sided lectures.
What you will actually do
Teach Science General to classes VI to X following the NCERT curriculum and school guidelines.
Prepare monthly unit plans, weekly worksheets and daily teaching notes in advance.
Organize and maintain the school science laboratory with proper labeling of chemicals and equipment.
Conduct practical experiments and ensure safety measures are followed during lab sessions.
Assess students through regular tests, quizzes and assignments; maintain records in registers.
Organize science exhibitions or quiz competitions at least once a semester to build interest.
Attend staff meetings and contribute to curriculum review discussions when needed.
Coordinate with subject teachers for cross-class project assignments in Science General.
Who can do this job
You must have a postgraduate degree in Science with at least 50% marks.
B.Ed or D.El.Ed is mandatory; freshers with B.Ed/D.El.Ed can apply if they have 2 years of teaching experience.
TET/CTET is not required for this Science General Teacher Recruitment in Uttar Pradesh.
