Conduct interactive sessions, including group discussions and practical exercises, to enhance students’ analytical skills.
Prepare and mark assignments, exams, and projects to assess understanding effectively. Collaborate with the faculty to design extracurricular activities like debates, mock business simulations, or guest lectures by economists from local institutions. Maintain a supportive classroom environment that encourages curiosity and critical thinking among students.
Qualification
Hold a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree with a post-graduate qualification in Economics. A strong background in economics, including macro and microeconomic theories, is essential. While TET/CTET is preferred, it is not mandatory for this role.
Experience
Four years of teaching experience, preferably in a school setting, is required. Experience in teaching Economics to high school students is a must. Familiarity with modern teaching methodologies and assessment techniques is beneficial.
