TGT Music Teacher – Tier 3 Premium School
Position Overview
We seek a passionate TGT Music Teacher to deliver a high-impact music curriculum for Grades 6-8 in a Tier 3 premium school. The role demands specialized expertise in Western and Indian classical, contemporary genres, and digital music production. - Experience with Trinity College London or ABRSM graded examination preparation.
- Strong vocal range and instrumental competence (piano/guitar/violin).
- Fluency in Hindi and English; bilingual classroom management.
- Tech-savviness: MIDI controllers, audio interfaces, and DAW workflows.
Your Responsibilities
- Design and deliver a standards-aligned music curriculum aligned with CBSE and NEP 2020.
- Plan and conduct 18 periods per week, including theory, practical, and ensemble sessions.
- Organize two annual school concerts and participate in inter-school festivals.
- Prepare students for inter-house and national-level music competitions.
- Maintain inventory of instruments, accessories, and digital assets.
- Collaborate with art, drama, and PE departments for cross-disciplinary projects.
- Conduct parent orientation sessions on music education pathways.
- Document student progress through digital portfolios and quarterly reports.
- Attend weekly departmental meetings and contribute to curriculum reviews.
- Represent the school at cultural exchange programs and parent-teacher conferences.
