PGT Fine Arts Teacher Job in Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh | School Recruitment
Daily work involves guiding students through visual and performing art techniques, organizing studio sessions, and curating exhibitions that reflect local cultural themes.
Scope of the Role
The position covers instruction in painting, sculpture, and digital media for grades 9 to 12. It includes coordinating interschool art contests and contributing to the school’s cultural calendar. The teacher also mentors junior staff and assists in developing the Fine Arts curriculum aligned with state guidelines.
Core Academic Duties
Deliver lessons that foster creativity and technical skill. Lead workshops on mixed media, traditional Indian art forms, and contemporary practices. Facilitate group projects that encourage collaboration and critical analysis of art pieces.
Assessment and Planning Duties
Prepare lesson plans, project briefs, and assessment rubrics. Evaluate student work through portfolio reviews and project presentations. Maintain records of progress and provide feedback that supports individual artistic growth.
Qualification and Experience
Postgraduate degree in Fine Arts or related field required. Minimum 4 years of teaching experience in a secondary school setting. B.Ed or D.El.Ed preferred; TET/CTET is not mandatory but advantageous.
Salary and Location
Competitive package of Rs.40,000 – Rs.50,000 per month. Full‑time position based in Barelly, Bareilly at Padmawati Sr Sec School | Bareilly.
