Classroom Profile
Teach Social Science to students in Grades 6 to 8 at Vinayak International School Faridpur Bareilly. What You Will Do
Prepare daily lesson plans aligned with CBSE Social Science syllabus for middle school students. Use maps, charts, and local case studies from Bareilly and Uttar Pradesh to make lessons relatable. Conduct weekly quizzes and discussions to assess understanding and clear doubts in real time.
Organize monthly group projects where students explore local history or civic issues in Faridpur. Lead field trips to nearby heritage sites or government offices to provide firsthand exposure to Social Science concepts. Encourage students to present their findings in simple English or Hindi to build confidence and communication skills.
Maintain accurate attendance and assessment records as per school policy. Communicate progress regularly with parents through notes and parent-teacher meetings. Collaborate with other TGT teachers to plan inter-disciplinary activities that link Social Science with language and science topics.
Eligibility Criteria
Postgraduate degree in Social Science or related field from a recognized university. B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree from a NCTE-recognized institution is mandatory. Prior teaching experience of at least four years in a middle school environment is required.
