Modern Era Public School

Modern Era Public School, Bijnor sits on a spacious plot along Mandawar Road, a quiet stretch that still feels close to the rhythm of the town’s daily life. The campus spreads over roughly 40 bighas, giving students plenty of room to move between well‑ventilated classrooms, leafy courtyards and the sports fields that host cricket, football and basketball matches. Families from the surrounding neighborhoods and nearby villages have come to see the school as a centre where their children can grow without having to travel far from home.

Since its founding in 1999 under the Modern Era Public School Educational Trust, the institution has been affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education, offering a full 10+2 programme in Science, Commerce and Arts. English is the medium of instruction, and the curriculum follows the CBSE pattern while allowing flexibility for students to explore subjects like physics, chemistry, biology, economics or history according to their interests. Well‑stocked libraries, composite science labs and computer rooms give learners the tools they need to experiment, research and develop the analytical habits expected at the senior secondary level.

The teaching staff is a mix of experienced educators and younger teachers who bring fresh ideas to the classroom. Most have undergone regular training and are known for encouraging questions rather than simply delivering lectures. Classrooms are arranged to foster interaction, with group projects and discussions becoming a regular part of the day. Parents often comment on the approachable nature of the teachers, who keep lines of communication open through parent‑teacher meetings and informal chats.

What sets this school apart is the balance it strikes between academics and co‑curricular pursuits. Beyond the textbook, students can join music, dance, dramatics and art clubs, practice yoga or take part in martial arts sessions. The sports grounds host inter‑school competitions, and the school’s cultural festivals bring together students from different streams, creating a sense of community that extends beyond the classroom walls. For families in Bijnor looking for a place where disciplined study meets a vibrant, well‑rounded school life, Modern Era Public School offers a compelling choice.
