About This Role
Bk Public School is seeking a Post Graduate Teacher in Accountancy to join our team in Anoopsahar, Bulandshahr. This is a full-time position where you will shape the financial understanding of Classes 11-12 students. The role involves delivering structured lessons, assessing student progress, and preparing learners for board examinations. Teaching Approach
Teaching Accountancy at Bk Public School requires a balance of theory and practical application. Use real-world case studies from local businesses in Bulandshahr to explain journal entries, ledger posting, and balance sheet preparation. Day-To-Day Duties
Prepare weekly lesson plans aligned with CBSE Accountancy syllabus for senior secondary classes. Assign weekly assignments focusing on numerical problems and theoretical short questions. Organize monthly internal assessments to evaluate student understanding and provide timely feedback. Maintain accurate attendance and assessment records as per school policy. Participate in parent-teacher meetings to discuss student progress in Accountancy. Collaborate with the commerce department to organize inter-house accounting quizzes and mock audits. Assist in updating the commerce lab with latest accounting software and reference books.
Required Qualifications
Postgraduate degree in Commerce with Accountancy as a major subject is mandatory. Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) with Accountancy specialization is required. Prior teaching experience of at least two years in senior secondary Accountancy is preferred. CTET or TET certification will be considered an advantage.
