Day-to-Day Duties
Plan weekly music lessons covering vocal, rhythm, and basic instrument skills.
Conduct classroom sessions in Hindi and English for students aged 6 to 12.
Organize school choir and percussion ensemble rehearsals twice a week.
Prepare students for inter-house and inter-school music competitions.
Maintain attendance and progress records for each class.
Collaborate with art and sports teachers for annual day and sports day performances.
Assist in procuring and maintaining musical instruments and audio equipment.
Participate in parent-teacher meetings to discuss student progress in music.
Required Qualifications
Must Have
D.El.Ed or B.Ed with Music as a subject from a recognized institution.
Minimum 2 years of full-time experience teaching music in primary classes.
Good to Have
TET or CTET certification for primary teachers.
Experience with Indian classical or folk music pedagogy.
