Day-to-Day Duties
As a PGT Computer Science Teacher, your day-to-day duties will include:
* Preparing and delivering lessons on Computer Science to students
* Conducting practical sessions and lab work on computer programming and software development
* Assessing students' progress and providing feedback
* Maintaining accurate records of student progress and attendance
* Collaborating with colleagues to develop and implement the school's Computer Science curriculum
* Providing support to students outside of class hours
* Participating in school events and activities related to Computer Science
* Staying up-to-date with developments in Computer Science and incorporating them into your teaching
* Maintaining the computer lab and ensuring that equipment is in good working order
Required Qualifications
To be considered for this position, you must have:
* A Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field
* A Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) degree
* A valid Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) or Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) certification (not necessary for this specific position, but preferred)
Preferred Skills
* Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, and C++
* Experience with computer hardware and software
* Ability to design and deliver online and offline lessons
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Salary and Benefits
