Senior Economics Department Role

Mentor newly joined Economics Teachers in lesson planning, classroom management, and assessment design. Provide constructive feedback to junior colleagues to enhance their instructional effectiveness.
Oversee the creation and maintenance of subject resource libraries with textbooks, reference books, and sample papers. Organize parent-teacher meetings focused on academic progress and career guidance in Economics. Collaborate with the school leadership on academic calendar planning and examination schedule coordination.
Lead departmental meetings to review syllabus coverage, student performance trends, and remedial strategies. Introduce innovative assessment formats such as case studies, project work, and viva voce to strengthen conceptual understanding. Ensure timely submission of academic reports, attendance records, and achievement portfolios to the administration.
Who Can Apply
Post Graduate in Economics with a B.Ed degree from a recognized Indian university. Minimum five years of full-time teaching experience in senior secondary Economics at a reputed school. CTET or UPTET qualified candidates will receive preference during selection.
