What You Will Do
Plan and deliver daily English lessons for Grades 11-12, aligning content with the UP board syllabus and ICSE patterns.
Create quarterly unit tests, mid-term assessments, and final papers with clear rubrics for essays and literature sections.
Conduct remedial sessions after school for students scoring below 40 percent in English.
Organize monthly literature circles where students present poems, short stories, and critical essays.
Train the school’s debating and extempore teams for inter-school competitions in Deoria and Gorakhpur.
Mentor two student editors who produce the annual school magazine, handling submissions, proofreading, and design.
Attend parent-teacher meetings in the village clusters around Rudrapur, explaining progress in English.
Keep the English department notice board updated with new books, exam tips, and model answers every fortnight.
Who Can Apply
Post-graduate in English with a minimum of three years of teaching experience in Grades 11-12. B.Ed or D.El.Ed is mandatory. Prior experience in ICSE or CBSE schools is preferred. TET or CTET certification, though not required, will be considered.
