Key Responsibilities
- Teach History to students in grades VI-XII, using a variety of instructional methods to engage learners
- Develop and implement curriculum that meets the needs of our students, and aligns with national standards
- Utilize digital tools to enhance instruction, including smart boards, Google Classroom, and Learning Management Systems
- Assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly, using a variety of assessment methods to ensure that students are meeting their potential
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum and instructional strategies
- Participate in department meetings and contribute to the development of departmental policies and procedures
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and grades
- Participate in school events and activities, including parent-teacher conferences and open houses
- Stay up-to-date with developments in the field of History education, and incorporate new ideas and approaches into instruction
- Supervise students during extracurricular activities and events
Who Can Apply
