Job Overview
We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced PGT History Teacher to join our faculty at St Xavier High School. As a PGT History Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching History to students in Classes 9-12 and guiding them in their academic growth.
What You Will Do
1. Plan and deliver engaging History lessons to students in Classes 9-12.
2. Develop and implement curriculum-aligned lesson plans and assessments.
3. Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
4. Conduct parent-teacher meetings and communicate with parents.
5. Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records.
6. Participate in departmental and whole-school meetings.
7. Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement school-wide initiatives.
8. Stay up-to-date with developments in History education and curriculum.
Eligibility Criteria
1. Postgraduate degree in History or a related field.
2. B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree with a minimum of 3 years of teaching experience.
3. Strong knowledge of History and its pedagogy.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
