About This Role
St. Xavier High School, a renowned institution in Rudrapur, Deoria, is seeking a dynamic PGT Home Science Teacher to join our academic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Home Science subjects to students of Classes 11 and 12.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver lessons to students of Classes 11 and 12, adhering to the curriculum and assessment requirements.
- Prepare and distribute study materials, including lesson plans, worksheets, and assignments.
- Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to monitor student progress.
- Provide guidance and support to students, especially those who require extra help.
- Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the development of school policies and programs.
- Collaborate with other teachers to ensure a cohesive and integrated curriculum.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance.
- Develop and implement innovative teaching methods and resources.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Required Qualifications
Must Have
- Postgraduate degree in Home Science or related field.
- B.Ed./D.El.Ed. degree.
- Minimum 3 years of teaching experience in a school setting.
Good to Have
- CTET/TET certification.
- Experience in teaching Home Science subjects to Classes 11 and 12.
