As a PRT Dance Teacher, you will be required to teach dance classes using smart boards, create and share digital resources using Google Classroom, and participate in online teaching activities. You will also be expected to maintain a digital portfolio of your lessons and activities, and participate in regular online meetings with colleagues.
What You Will Do
As a PRT Dance Teacher, your primary responsibilities will include:
* Planning and delivering dance lessons to students in grades 1-8
* Creating and sharing digital resources, such as lesson plans, videos, and images, using Google Classroom and LMS
* Using smart boards to engage students and enhance their learning experience
* Assisting students in developing their dance skills and knowledge
* Participating in online teaching activities, such as online meetings and webinars
* Maintaining a digital portfolio of your lessons and activities
* Collaborating with colleagues to develop and implement the school's dance curriculum
* Participating in school events and activities, such as dance performances and festivals
* Maintaining a safe and respectful learning environment for students
* Adapting your teaching methods to meet the needs of students with diverse learning styles and abilities
Eligibility Criteria
* Graduate degree in Dance or equivalent
* B.Ed/D.El.Ed degree required for teaching positions
* TET/CTET preferred but not mandatory
* 2 years of experience in teaching dance to students in grades 1-8
* Strong knowledge of dance techniques and pedagogy
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
