Job Overview
We are seeking a qualified and experienced PRT Social Science Teacher to join our faculty at St. Xavier High School in Bhatpur Rani, Deoria. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Social Science to students from Class VI to Class X, developing engaging lesson plans, and assessing student progress.
What You Will Do
- Plan and deliver lessons in Social Science to students from Class VI to Class X, using a range of teaching methods to cater to different learning styles.
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans, incorporating a variety of instructional materials and technologies.
- Assess student progress, provide feedback, and maintain accurate records of student performance.
- Prepare and administer quizzes, tests, and other assessments to evaluate student understanding.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement the school's Social Science curriculum.
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and other activities that promote school improvement.
- Communicate with parents and guardians about student progress and involve them in their child's education.
- Maintain a well-organized and safe classroom environment.
- Participate in school events, such as parent-teacher meetings, open houses, and cultural festivals.
Required Qualifications
To be considered for this position, you must possess the following qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in Social Science, History, Geography, or a related field.
- A B.Ed. or D.El.Ed. degree, with a focus on Social Science or a related subject.
- A valid TET or CTET certification is preferred but not mandatory.
Salary and Benefits
