About This Role
St. Xavier High School is seeking an experienced TGT Computer Science Teacher to join our dedicated faculty team in Rudrapur, Deoria, Uttar Pradesh. We are looking for a skilled educator to lead our Computer Science department and drive academic excellence in our students.
Day-to-Day Duties
As a TGT Computer Science Teacher at St. Xavier High School, you will be responsible for:
- Teaching Computer Science to students from Class 6 to 10
- Developing and implementing engaging lesson plans to meet the needs of diverse learners
- Coaching students for board exams, including preparing them for Science Olympiads and competitions
- Conducting regular assessments and evaluations to track student progress
- Maintaining accurate records of student performance and progress
- Collaborating with colleagues to plan and implement curriculum and co-curricular activities
- Supervising students during computer lab sessions and online classes
- Participating in staff meetings and contributing to school policies and decisions
- Keeping up-to-date with new technologies and teaching methods to enhance student learning
Required Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you must have a B.Ed degree and a minimum of 3 years of experience in teaching Computer Science. A TET or CTET certification is preferred but not mandatory. Your strong academic background, teaching skills, and ability to connect with students will make you an ideal candidate for this position.
