Lessons are planned with a blended approach so students explore local ecosystems like the Rapti river and nearby agricultural fields using live data feeds. Your role is to translate environmental concepts into real-world projects that students can track and discuss online.
How You Will Teach
Daily lessons are delivered through a mix of smart-board presentations and hands-on experiments. Google Classroom hosts assignments, quizzes, and discussion forums where students post observations from their neighbourhood. What You Will Do
Plan Evs units using the school’s digital curriculum map and update weekly on the LMS.
Create 15-minute concept videos on topics like soil conservation and water cycles for flipped classrooms.
Conduct live quizzes on Kahoot to assess prior knowledge before new chapters.
Assign field observation tasks where students photograph local flora and upload to a shared drive.
Use Google Forms to collect student data on waste segregation practices at home.
Collaborate with the IT coordinator to troubleshoot projector and smart-board issues during lessons.
Run after-school virtual labs using PhET simulations for students who need extra practice.
Share monthly newsletters with parents highlighting student projects and upcoming field trips.
Required Qualifications
Post-graduate degree in Environmental Science or related field is mandatory.
B.Ed or D.El.Ed with two years of Evs teaching experience is required.
Familiarity with smart-board operation and basic troubleshooting is expected.
CTET is preferred but not mandatory.
Preferred Skills
Strong digital literacy with daily use of Google Workspace and Classroom.
Experience with LMS platforms such as Moodle or School ERP.
Ability to curate online resources and short educational videos.
