About This Role
St. Xavier High School in Rudrapur, Deoria, Uttar Pradesh is seeking a qualified Mathematics Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Mathematics to students from grades 6-12. Key Responsibilities
1. Plan and deliver Mathematics lessons to students from grades 6-12.
2. Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to different learning styles.
3. Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
4. Use technology to enhance Mathematics education.
5. Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum and assessments.
6. Participate in school events and activities that promote Mathematics learning.
7. Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance.
8. Communicate with parents and guardians regarding student progress.
9. Stay up-to-date with curriculum developments and best practices in Mathematics education.
Required Qualifications
Must Have:
- B.Ed./D.El.Ed. degree with a specialization in Mathematics
- Post-graduate degree in Mathematics or a related field
Good to Have:
- TET/CTET certification
- Experience teaching Mathematics in a school setting
- Strong knowledge of Mathematics curriculum and assessments
- Ability to use technology to enhance Mathematics education
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Skills
- Ability to teach Mathematics to students from diverse backgrounds and learning styles
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Willingness to take on additional responsibilities as needed
