About This Role
We are seeking a qualified and experienced TGT Physical Education Teacher to join our team at St. Xavier High School. As a TGT Physical Education Teacher, you will play a key role in promoting physical education and sports in our school, inspiring students to develop their physical skills and a lifelong love of sports.
What You Will Do
- Plan and deliver high-quality physical education lessons to students in classes 6-12.
- Develop and implement sports programs, tournaments, and events.
- Create a safe and supportive learning environment for students.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement the school's physical education curriculum.
- Assess student progress and provide feedback.
- Participate in staff meetings and contribute to school events.
- Supervise students during recess and physical education periods.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance.
- Develop and maintain relationships with local sports clubs and organizations.
Who Can Apply
To be considered for this role, you should have a strong background in physical education, a good understanding of the Indian curriculum, and experience teaching students in classes 6-12. A B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree is required, and a preference will be given to candidates who have completed TET or CTET. You should also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to work well in a team.
Salary and Benefits
The successful candidate will be offered a salary of Rs.20,000 - Rs.40,000 per month, depending on experience. Other benefits may include opportunities for professional development, a supportive work environment, and the chance to work with a dedicated team of educators.
