Role Summary

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced PGT Accountancy Teacher to join our team at Sir A S Adom World Senior Secondary School in Etah, Uttar Pradesh. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Accountancy to students at the senior secondary level, utilizing modern tools and techniques to enhance learning outcomes.

How You Will Teach

At Sir A S Adom World Senior Secondary School, we use smart boards, Google Classroom, and Learning Management Systems (LMS) to facilitate blended learning and enhance student engagement. As a PGT Accountancy Teacher, you will utilize these tools to create interactive lessons, share resources, and provide feedback to students. You will also use digital tools to track student progress, identify areas of improvement, and develop strategies to address these gaps.

Day-to-Day Duties

- Teach Accountancy to students at the senior secondary level
- Utilize smart boards, Google Classroom, and LMS to facilitate blended learning
- Develop and deliver lesson plans that cater to the needs of students with varying learning styles
- Assess student progress and provide feedback through various means, including online portals
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement school-wide strategies to improve student outcomes
- Participate in parent-teacher conferences to discuss student progress and provide guidance to parents
- Stay updated on curriculum developments and make recommendations to improve teaching practices
- Contribute to the development of school policies and procedures related to teaching and learning
- Participate in school-wide events and activities to promote a positive learning environment

Required Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must hold a postgraduate degree in Accountancy or a related field, with a B.Ed/D.El.Ed from a recognized institution. Preference will be given to candidates who have completed the CTET/TET examination.

Preferred Skills

- Strong digital literacy skills, including proficiency in Google Classroom and LMS
- Ability to use online teaching tools, such as video conferencing software and digital whiteboards
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office and other productivity software
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
