JOB NOTIFICATION: POST GRADUATE TEACHER IN ENGLISH
Role Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) for the English department. The selected candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality education to senior secondary students (Class XI and XII), ensuring they achieve academic excellence in English language and literature while preparing for board examinations.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct classroom lectures for senior secondary students following the prescribed board syllabus.
Prepare detailed lesson plans, academic calendars, and teaching aids to facilitate effective learning.
Evaluate student performance through regular unit tests, term exams, and practice papers.
Organize and lead co-curricular activities such as English literary clubs, debates, and declamations.
Maintain student progress reports and attend parent-teacher meetings to discuss academic growth.
Provide mentorship and guidance to students for their holistic development and career planning.
Student Profile
The student body primarily consists of learners from rural and semi-urban backgrounds in a Tier 4 location. Students are disciplined and eager to learn but may require additional support in developing spoken English proficiency and advanced grammar skills. The teacher is expected to be patient and encouraging.
