PPRT Environmental Studies (EVS) Teacher Position at Gd International School, Etah

Key Responsibilities
Teach Environmental Studies to students from classes III to VIII, ensuring age-appropriate content delivery. Design and implement interactive lessons, experiments, and projects on topics like climate change, biodiversity, and waste management. Collaborate with the science and social science departments to integrate EVS concepts across subjects. Organize school events such as tree-planting drives, cleanliness campaigns, and guest lectures by environmental experts. Assess student understanding through practical assessments, projects, and continuous evaluation. Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment while adhering to school policies on sustainability. Prepare and update lesson plans based on curriculum guidelines and student feedback.
Qualifications
Hold a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) from a recognized university. Possess a graduate degree in Environmental Studies, Science, or a related field. Have a strong foundation in EVS curriculum, including practical teaching methods for junior classes. Ensure familiarity with the National Curriculum Framework (NCF) for EVS.
Experience
Minimum three years of teaching experience, preferably in EVS or environmental sciences at the primary or upper-primary level. Experience in designing and conducting hands-on EVS activities, field trips, or community outreach programs. Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and school management to promote environmental consciousness.
Salary and Employment
The selected candidate will receive a monthly salary ranging from Rs.18,000 to Rs.25,000, subject to performance and qualifications. This is a full-time position at Gd International School, Etah, committed to nurturing environmentally aware learners.
