Position Overview

The school is seeking a highly qualified Primary RE Teacher to join our dedicated and passionate team of educators. Primary Duties

1 The successful applicant will be responsible for planning, preparing, and delivering high-quality RE lessons to students in Key Stages 1 and 2, in accordance with the National Curriculum and the school's RE policy.
2 The teacher will be expected to set high standards and expectations for student behaviour, academic achievement, and personal development.
3 The teacher will maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress, including written feedback, assessments and reports.
4 The teacher will work collaboratively with other members of the teaching staff to provide a comprehensive and cohesive education for all students.
5 The teacher will contribute to the development of the school's RE curriculum and the implementation of new initiatives and policies.
6 The teacher will take an active role in the school's extracurricular activities, including clubs, sports teams, and other events.
7 The teacher will maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment, promoting respect, empathy and understanding among students and staff.

Salary and Compensation

The salary for this position will be according to the school's scale, dependent upon the qualifications and experience of the successful applicant. The current salary scale for a Primary RE Teacher is:

* Main scale 1-6: £22,043 - £30,819
* Upper scale 1-3: £30,819 - £41,604
* Leadership scale 1-3: £41,604 - £54,144
