About This Role
Sir A.s. Adom World Senior Secondary School is seeking a highly motivated and experienced PRT to teach Social Science to students of classes VI to X. The successful candidate will be expected to plan, deliver, and assess lessons to students, making learning engaging and fun. Pedagogy and Tools (specific to Social Science)
The PRT Social Science Teacher will be expected to use a variety of teaching methodologies to deliver the curriculum, including discussions, group activities, and hands-on experiments. The teacher will be responsible for setting up and maintaining the Social Science lab and will be expected to use educational technology to enhance student learning. The teacher will also be responsible for maintaining records of student progress and providing feedback to parents.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver Social Science lessons to students of classes VI to X
* Assess student progress and provide feedback to students and parents
* Set up and maintain the Social Science lab
* Use educational technology to enhance student learning
* Develop and implement new and innovative teaching methods
* Collaborate with other teachers to develop the curriculum
* Maintain records of student progress and attendance
* Participate in school events and activities
* Maintain discipline in the classroom and promote positive behavior among students
Required Qualifications
* B.Ed/D.El.Ed with specialization in Social Science
* TET/CTET preferred but not mandatory
* Relevant teaching experience of at least 2 years in a school setting
* Strong knowledge of Social Science curriculum and pedagogy
