Senior TGT Social Science Teacher Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior TGT Social Science Teacher to join our team at a reputable Tier 4 school. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching and leadership, with a passion for mentoring and guiding students towards academic excellence.

Primary Duties (Leadership duties):

- Lead and manage a team of TGT Social Science teachers, providing guidance and support as needed
- Develop and implement school-wide policies and procedures related to social science education
- Collaborate with other subject leaders to develop and implement cross-curricular programs
- Conduct regular assessments and evaluations of student progress and performance
- Participate in school-wide initiatives and projects, such as curriculum development and teacher training
- Provide mentorship and coaching to junior teachers and support staff

Advanced degrees:

- Master's degree in Social Science, Education, or a related field
