What You Will Do
1. Coordinate dance performances, events, and competitions for students, parents, and the community.
2. Recruit and manage a team of dance instructors, choreographers, and assistants.
3. Develop and implement dance curricula, lesson plans, and assessment strategies.
4. Collaborate with other faculty members to integrate dance into the school's overall curriculum.
5. Manage dance-related budgets, expenses, and resources.
6. Ensure compliance with school policies, safety guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
7. Represent the school at dance-related conferences, workshops, and events.
8. Evaluate and improve the overall quality and effectiveness of dance programs.
Required Qualifications
The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor's degree in Dance or a related field, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in dance education, management, or administration. A B.Ed. or D.El.Ed. degree is preferred but not essential.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in dance choreography, direction, and performance
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work with diverse age groups, cultures, and abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, or other education technology tools
Salary and Benefits
