PGT Biology Teacher Job in Etawah, Uttar Pradesh | School Recruitment
Position Summary
S.t Francis Christian School invites applications for a full‑time PGT Biology Teacher in Etawah. The role involves delivering the Biology curriculum to senior secondary classes at the Bhartana campus, preparing lesson plans, conducting practical sessions, and evaluating student performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct engaging classroom teaching of Biology for classes XI and XII, covering theory and laboratory work.
- Design and administer assessments, quizzes and practical exams in line with the state board guidelines.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and provide timely feedback to students and parents.
- Coordinate with the Science department to organize inter‑school science fairs and biology workshops.
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development sessions and school events as required.
Qualifications & Experience
- Post‑graduate degree in Biology (M.Sc or equivalent) with B.Ed or D.El.Ed.
- Minimum 3 years of teaching experience at the senior secondary level.
- TET/CTET certification preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong command of English and Hindi for effective classroom communication.
Preferred Attributes
- Ability to integrate modern teaching aids and digital resources into Biology lessons.
- Experience in guiding students for competitive exams and science Olympiads.

Salary & Benefits
The salary offered for this position is Rs.35,000 - Rs.60,000 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additional benefits include transport allowance and professional development support.
