Role Summary
We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced PGT Chemistry Teacher to join our faculty at S.t Francis Christian School. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Chemistry to students in classes 11 and 12, and will also be required to participate in co-curricular activities, staff meetings, and other school events.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Chemistry lessons to students in classes 11 and 12
- Develop and implement innovative teaching methods and materials to enhance student learning
- Assess student progress and provide regular feedback to parents and students
- Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the development of school policies and programs
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement interdisciplinary projects and activities
- Supervise and mentor students during extracurricular activities
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance
- Participate in school events and activities, including parent-teacher meetings and open houses
- Stay updated with the latest developments in Chemistry education and incorporate new ideas and approaches into teaching
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this position, candidates must have the following qualifications and experience:
- B.Ed/D.El.Ed from a recognized institution
- TET/CTET certification preferred
- Post-graduate degree in Chemistry from a recognized university
- At least 2 years of teaching experience in a school setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a team and collaborate with colleagues
Salary and Benefits
The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of Rs.40,000 - Rs.70,000 per month, along with other benefits as per school policy.
