Pedagogy and Tools
As a PRT Dance Teacher, you will employ practical methods and tools to create engaging and interactive Dance lessons for our students. This will involve creating lesson plans, developing assessments, and using technology to enhance the learning experience.
What You Will Do
- Plan and deliver Dance lessons to students in grades 1-8.
- Develop and implement Dance curriculum that aligns with the school's vision and values.
- Assess student progress and provide regular feedback to parents and students.
- Collaborate with other teachers to develop interdisciplinary projects and activities.
- Conduct Dance workshops and events for students, parents, and the community.
- Maintain a safe and organized Dance studio, adhering to school safety protocols.
- Participate in school events, including cultural festivals and competitions.
- Develop and implement Dance-related projects and activities that promote student engagement and motivation.
- Stay updated with the latest developments in Dance education and share best practices with colleagues.
- Participate in school committees and contribute to school decision-making processes.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the post of PRT Dance Teacher, you should possess a B.Ed. or D.El.Ed. degree with a specialization in Dance or a related field. Certification in Dance, such as TET or CTET, is preferred but not mandatory.
Preferred Skills
- A minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in Dance education.
- Strong knowledge of Dance theory, history, and practice.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to create engaging and interactive lesson plans.
- Familiarity with technology, including audio-visual equipment and software.
- Willingness to work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to school events.
Salary and Benefits
