Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated PGT Accountancy Teacher to join our faculty at St. Xaviers High School. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for teaching Accountancy to students at the senior secondary level, mentoring them to excel in their academic pursuits, and contributing to the development of our school's curriculum.
Key Responsibilities
1. Teach Accountancy to senior secondary students, creating engaging lesson plans and assessments to meet diverse learning needs.
2. Prepare and deliver lectures, tutorials, and workshops to enhance students' understanding of Accountancy concepts.
3. Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies to improve student outcomes and promote critical thinking.
4. Assess student progress, providing regular feedback and guidance to support their academic growth.
5. Collaborate with colleagues to design and deliver interdisciplinary projects that integrate Accountancy with other subjects.
6. Participate in curriculum development, ensuring that our programs meet the needs of 21st-century learners.
7. Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment, promoting social responsibility and empathy among students.
8. Stay updated with the latest developments in Accountancy education, incorporating best practices into your teaching.
Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for this role, you must possess a postgraduate degree in Commerce (Accountancy) or a related field, with a valid B.Ed or D.El.Ed certification. A minimum of 2 years of experience in teaching Accountancy at the senior secondary level is required. Preference will be given to candidates with a valid TET or CTET qualification.
Salary and Benefits
The selected candidate will receive a salary of Rs.30,000 - Rs.50,000 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
