PRT Art And Craft Teacher – Seth M. R. Jaipuria School, Fatehpur Sadar, Uttar Pradesh
Responsibilities
Plan and conduct daily Art and Craft sessions for primary classes, ensuring activities are age‑appropriate and safe. Prepare materials, set up workstations, and guide students in developing basic drawing, painting, and craft skills. Assess student work, maintain records of progress, and communicate observations to class teachers and parents.
Classroom Management
Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment and manage student behavior during practical sessions. Ensure all tools and supplies are stored properly after each class and follow school safety protocols.
Collaboration
Coordinate with fellow teachers to integrate Art and Craft projects with thematic units where required. Participate in school events, exhibitions, and cultural programs, showcasing student creations.
Professional Development
Stay updated with simple, cost‑effective techniques and resources suitable for primary learners. Attend mandatory staff meetings and training sessions organized by the school.
Qualifications
Graduate degree in any discipline with B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification. Preference given to candidates who have cleared TET/CTET. Minimum two years of teaching experience in Art and Craft at the primary level.
Experience
At least 2 years of hands‑on teaching Art and Craft to children, demonstrating ability to manage classroom activities and nurture creativity.
Salary
Rs.15,000 – Rs.30,000 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
