Role Summary
At Seth M. R. Jaipuria School, we are seeking an experienced and dedicated PRT to head our Dance department in Fatehpur Sadar, Fatehpur, Uttar Pradesh. As a senior-level Dance Teacher, you will have the opportunity to shape the educational experience of students by developing curriculum, mentoring junior staff, and contributing to the school's academic excellence.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop, implement, and evaluate the Dance curriculum for students from Nursery to Class 12
* Teach Dance classes to students, ensuring a high level of engagement and learning
* Mentor junior staff members, providing guidance and support in teaching practices
* Collaborate with other departments to ensure a holistic and interdisciplinary approach to education
* Contribute to the school's academic excellence by analyzing board results and developing strategies for improvement
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with students, parents, and staff members
* Participate in school events, such as festivals, competitions, and cultural programs
* Stay updated with the latest developments in Dance education and integrate them into the curriculum
* Perform administrative tasks, such as maintaining records and attending meetings
Eligibility Criteria
* Postgraduate degree in Dance or a related field
* B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree required; NET or SET preferred
* Minimum 5 years of teaching experience in Dance; experience in a school setting preferred
* Strong knowledge of Dance education and curriculum development
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
