Role Summary
As a Special Educator at Seth M. R. Jaipuria School, you will play a vital role in creating an inclusive environment for students with special needs in Fatehpur Sadar, Fatehpur, Uttar Pradesh. Key Responsibilities
1. Develop and implement individualized plans for students with special needs in collaboration with teachers, parents, and other stakeholders.
2. Conduct observations, assessments, and progress monitoring to inform instruction and support services.
3. Collaborate with the special education team to design and implement inclusive classroom environments.
4. Provide training and support to teachers on inclusive practices and accommodations.
5. Develop and maintain relationships with community resources and agencies to provide additional support services to students.
6. Participate in the development and implementation of school-based programs and policies related to special education.
7. Collaborate with the administration to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, including the Right to Education Act.
Required Qualifications
* Graduate degree in Special Education or a related field
* D.El.Ed or B.Ed in Special Education or a related field
* TET/CTET is not required for this position
Preferred Skills
* Experience working with students with diverse learning needs
* Knowledge of Indian Sign Language (ISL) and other local sign languages
* Familiarity with special education laws and regulations in India
